Located at Ray Owen Reserve in the hills of Kalamunda, the Eastern Suns is represented by elite basketballers who compete in the Western Australian Basketball League (WABL) a home and away competition played on Sundays throughout the WA metropolitan area.
In February 2016, the Under 14 Girls team, coached by Nicole Moyle, Tom Knowles and Craig Mansfield, were succesful in their selection to represent the Eastern Suns at the Australian Club Championships being hosted by Newcastle from 26 September - 01 October 2016.
The Eastern Suns are affiliated to the Kalamunda & Districts Basketball association.
The girls have finished the regular season of 18 games on top of the ladder!
Hard work breads success and the girls have been hard at it this season to give themselves every chance.
The girls now enter the finals series with their semi-final against Stirling Senators on Sunday 11th September, 11.30am at Bendat Basketball Stadium.
