ABOUT EASTERN SUNS
Located at Ray Owen Reserve in the hills of Kalamunda, the Eastern Suns is represented by elite basketballers who compete in the Western Australian Basketball League (WABL) a home and away competition played on Sundays throughout the WA metropolitan area.
In February 2016, the Under 14 Girls team, coached by Nicole Moyle, Tom Knowles and Craig Mansfield, were succesful in their selection to represent the Eastern Suns at the Australian Club Championships being hosted by Newcastle from 26 September - 01 October 2016.
The Eastern Suns are affiliated to the Kalamunda & Districts Basketball association.

ABOUT THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS | 2016
The Australian Under 14 Club Championships are being held in Maitland and Newcastle, New South Wales from Monday 26th September until 01 October 2016.
The Under 14 Club Championships form a vital pathway from participation through to elite competition for the nation’s junior female athletes and also illustrate the strength of our country programs.
The Under 14 Club Championships commenced in 1981 in Sydney when North Adelaide defeated Diamond Valley 46-45.
The winner of the Australian U14 Girls Club Championships, will be presented with the Michele Timms Championship Trophy. The winner of the Shield Division of the Australia U14 Girls Club Championships will be presented with the Rachael Sporn Shield.
